1. What is Meta tag ?

       HTML meta tags are usually referred as tags of page data which sits    between opening and closing head tags of a document’s HTML code. Actually these are hidden keywords who sits in the code. These are invisible to visitors but are visible and readable by Search Engines.

2. What is Robots.txt?

    The robots.txt file to give instructions about their site to web robots which is is called The Robots Exclusion Protocol.
 
    Robots.txt is a text file which contains few lines of simple code. It is saved on the website or blog's server which instruct the web crawlers to how to index and crawl your blog or website in the search results. That means you can restrict any web page on your blog or website from web crawlers so that it can't get indexed in search engines like your blog labels page, your demo page or any other pages that are not as important to get indexed. Always remember that search crawlers scan the robots.txt file before crawling any web page.

3. What is Sitemap?


     A site map is a visual or textually organized model of a Web site's content that allows the users to navigate through the site to find the information they are looking for, just as a traditional geographical map helps people find places they are looking for in the real world. 
     The sitemap programs of major search engines (and especially Google) are still in beta, using a sitemap might not generate huge advantages right away but as search engines improve their sitemap indexing algorithms, it is expected that more and more sites will be indexed fast via sitemaps.

4. What is Favicon?

    A favicon (favorites + icon), also known as a page icon or an urlicon, is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage. Favicons may display them in the browser's URL bar,  next to the site's name in lists of bookmarks, and next to the page's title in a tabbed document interface.
